A stream highlights video with most of, if not every content creator under Carolina Gaming in 2019. I created this video when I was their head of content for them during my sophomore year in college. For this video I wanted to focus on two things.
Overall, I think I did a good job showing off the content creators, my boss and the content creators enjoyed it and liked my work. The meme edits were fun to do and gathering footage for all the streamers was a blast.
Clips were given to me by streamers. Video production was done by me.
During my time with Carolina Gaming, I was tasked with creating a piece of content that showed the streamers under the organization at the time. I never had this big of a project up to this point and was excited to have the opportunity to challenge myself. Watching the streams and gathering content from these people I had to advertise was super fun as it gave me the opportunity to see who they were and what communities they had built up.
Some of the challenges I faced when creating this video was having the monumental task of covering so many personalities as well as gathering all of the footage from each one. By this time, Mixer and Twitch were online at the same time and I'd have quality discrepancies and different frame rates. In the end, I bunched three to four clips per creator so that each creator had their own little part of the video and made simple motion graphics of their stream names. I also experimented with funny meme edits which date the video incredibly, but was fun to do at the time. I had a fun time with Carolina Gaming, but my contract ended soon after the video was created as I had to go back to school full time.
